Javier Sanchez Fernandez
Javier will focus on calculating and reducing the expedition's carbon footprint.
Javier is a civil engineering PhD student at Imperial College. His role in the team will focus on calculating and reducing the expedition's carbon footprint, as well as helping on general aspects of the trip. In recent years he has been involved in other engineering, climate change focused societies such as Engineering Change, where he helped arrange and prepare several projects. In 2018, he went on a charitable expedition to El Salvador to help construct a walkbridge for a local community.
