Samantha Jenkins

Samantha is a PhD student researching the evolution of photosynthesis in polar cyanobacteria at Imperial College London and the Natural History Museum. She is a keen explorer and enjoys being on or in the ocean; especially expedition kayaking, diving, and open-water swimming. She is particularly interested in integrating citizen science work into the Grantham Team, so that our expeditions can contribute to environmental science as well as showing that these excursions can be done ethically and sustainably.
